Amy Tan’s versatility in writing fetched her universal fame. Tan, through her writing, created universal works because of the association of her personal familiarity withmiliarityto the stories. In her writing, she has portrayed the combination of her mother's life, and her own life and also depicted unknown and congenital natured facts. By virtue of her wr,iting the readers can relate to their own life and can develop their understanding from a broader prospect of view. The way of utilizing common relationships by seeing the insights of the ordinary relations and by exploring the changes has touched the readers. Tan’s clear depiction of relationships and capacity of allowing a manifestation of relationedcongenital-naturship in general has taught lessons to the readers by developing the real meaning of relationships. Amy Tan in her writing of “My Mother Secret” has portrayed her thoughts on the most precious relationship of life by saying, “You know all kinds of things. Like, well, you know, you're my mother”  (Tan, 1). The statement showed a glimpse of the creation of Tan and how she successfully connects her own personal experience reaching the heart of a universal audience. The report deals with factors that have contributed to Amy Tan’s success and how she has reached the hearts of millions of readers through her writing.

Amy Tan’s writing has always appealed to the mass since her stories dealt with the combination of the modern characters and the historical setting pretext in which she was writing. The author’s dominance in using the literature theme at best allowed the modern readers to correlate to her creations such as fate, identity etc. “Did you cry like everyone else in the audience” (Tan, 2004, pp. 2)? This statement shows the author’s immense capability of exploring the sensitivity of relationships and exploring the hindrances often encountered in the relationship. She answered the question which comes to the mind of the common people regarding the complexities of relationships. Her writing has upheld the views on feminism. Her writing content lessons are connected to the reader’s life. Readers found a close proximity with themselves as Tan lucidly portrays the world's emotions. This dominance in her writing helped Tan to win over the heart of millions through mystery storytelling and thus she succeeds to reach the heart of millions.

Amy Tan is writing since childhood. Society considered her a child prodigy. Her writing appealed to the mass then and now also. Her writing is simple and versatile. Her writing showed a deep connection with emotion from the very beginning. Her talent came into existence when she was eight and wrote the essay “My name is Amy Tan. I'm a third grader at Matanzas School" (Academy of Achievement). Her creation proved that deep down she is a real artist and amazingly portrayed topics related to culture, context, and high-context culture. Her writings provided cultural information and connotation from conformity to power. She smoothly depicted the Chinese American culture and added a new meaning to the same. Tan’s writing content is the depiction of an integrated and cohesive culture. Readers through her writing can connect to the other culture and can unfold the cultural mysteries which they might not have otherwise. Tan’s familiarity as a Chinese American and her deep understanding of the sentiments confirmed to life and death have touched the readers. By virtue of all sentiments interlaced and with her lucid power of storytelling, Tan’s writing reached worldwide readers.

Amy Tan has explored and experimented with different subjects and contributed immensely to the literature. Her writing has always been free from the monotony of subjects and explored through various experiences of life. The reason behind choosing and exploring a variety of subjects might be Tan’s urge for conveying the concepts of isolation, loneliness, and separation to her audiences. Her writing can be means of connection to the common mass. Through her writing, she shared the experience of her life with the readers. Tan’s diversity of experience has inspired the author to make choices in her writing.

The report thus depicts how Amy Tan has successfully reached the audience and how her writing has touched the hearts of millions worldwide.  Her writing has proved to be the anchor to discover the real meaning of relationships.
