? Computer Science and IT Introduction Norman who seems to appreciate nature explicitly considers the response of humanbeing to the product design (Norman, 2004). He further suggests that environmental attitude, way of life and morals greatly affect how many people perceive effects. The designers should design products that are practically easy to use and emotionally appealing to their target groups. The products should bestow contentment and fun to their potential users thus mounting their push for using the goods even more. Emotional connection while using the designed products may coerce the end users to buy the products as this leads to personalization and customization of the product. The users feel the sense of owning the products since their emotional attachment is taken into consideration. According to Norman, positive reception of nature induces affirmative response from the public as love for nature is considered preponderance in product design. Norman argues that the beauty of nature brings delight in people thus greatly changing their moods. Closer observation of nature harmonizes an individual’s emotion (Norman 2004). Visceral or aesthetical appreciation should not be separated due to their importance in people’s lives. Beauty and excellence is very important as it strengthens the sense of belonging. There is therefore a great need of appreciating attractiveness and brilliance in products. Attachment of nature’s gorgeousness in designing products for the most part creates a center of attention. Most people, especially women are profoundly attracted to the beauty. Inclusion of beauty and excellence in designing products intensely touches women’s emotions thus providing an excellent rationale for buying the magnificently designed products. I very much think that addition of exciting connection in products forms a key base in product design. The emotional attachment is uplifting and therefore designers should use it as a starting point in scheming products. The inclusion of people’s experiences while constructing products draws consumer’s attention by improving the usability of the product and reducing excessive helpdesk activities and troubleshooting. The product should be user friendly as the consumer achieves what he intends to attain by using the product. I significantly agree with Don Norman’s scheme as it boosts the products’ attractiveness (Norman 2004). . Occasionally, nearly all product firms have a roll of prerequisite to meet up, and, further characteristically, they have a number of aspects to extend. Scheming and mounting to requisite and quality lists guides to not up to scratch occurrence, for the reason that an individual is no longer oriented to the perception of the customer. While making judgment on designation, anxiety for characteristics, facts, and expertise trumps customer service. This is in large since the experimental part of the design is not taken into consideration. By starting with an idea of making something, there is an automatic way in which someone unnaturally confines what he can possibly deliver. Scores of archetypes’ progressive product designers accomplish something overtly for the reason that they do not devise products. Products are regarded as necessary work of art to take in hand purchaser requirements. Critical link between the designer and the user of the products is very necessary in the modern globalization because it makes businesses gain competitive advantage thus increasing their profits and boosting the businesses that had earlier failed. Moreover, past experiences need to be appreciated, embraced, and positive action taken to shape them in order to fit the acceptable and user-friendly target. Ways in which persuasion is used differs greatly and helps in attracting people in using products. Persuasion involves personal character of the individual speaker, positioning the addressees into a definite frame of mind and confirmation. The listeners may also influence people into believing in some products when they are emotionally touched. Furthermore, when a fact is proved, it can affect a third party through arguments in a row. Appeal should therefore concentrated on what people want to hear instead of what whoever persuades want to tell people. Influence must affect the listeners’ emotions in order for it to be successful. The listeners are required to understand facts and logics in order to carefully reason behind opinions as they form viable conclusions. People intending to persuade others should persuade their case by providing high-class explanation for the credible facts. Scientific research should be intense for the betterment of the product. Future predictions and careful observations of the product is very necessary in developing user friendly products. Predictions should be closely researched on, prove the facts and logics of the predictions and finally design the products. We should not only use our own knowledge in designing products because it is subjective sometimes. Our own thoughts, discernment, memory, sanity, and feelings may differ with others hence making it unreliable at times. Concepts and issues that seem obvious should be carefully examined to prove their credibility. From time to time, that which give an impression of being customary may turn up to be untrue hence calling for a cautious look at the so called concepts. However, there are assertions that are undeniable and cannot be altered at all cost. It is exceptionally important to accept that there exist several errors in our own way of thinking and appreciate them as they are. We should always depend on democratic ideas (Wittkower, 2008). Logical reasoning is an incredibly imperative aspect in the daily life situations because it makes us carry out investigations in a philosophical manner thus avoiding many mistakes and errors. Several misunderstandings are avoided when logical reasoning is applied especially in product scheming. There is also a burning need to regard ethics while designing products especially the standard ethical issues. A product should have standard components that do not harm individuals using them especially foodstuffs and drugs. Justice and human rights issues should be carefully looked at while designing products in order to avoid conflicts among businesses, governments, and the consumers. Rights and duties of individuals need to be well thought-out so that common errors and negligence that may prove costly at long run are avoided. The common person’s language should be cautiously understood to boost relationship between the designer and the consumer. Common person forms an integral part of the communication thus listening to his grievances and improving on them can be very much resourceful (Wittkower, 2008). Development of iPods has been incredible and it shows the effort put by scientists in improving technology. With regard to human hobbies such as playing games, scientists have designed iPods for game lovers thus popularizing game industry. iPod is used by all people without considering their ages, sex, and races. The universal use of iPod and its user friendliness has immensely increased its popularity beyond the designer’s expectation. The fact that individuals can play factual games with their friends is a great step in technical research. In addition, people are capable of listening to their favorite music and watching movies via iPods, which creates a sense of belonging and attachment to the iPod users (Wittkower 2008). It is very hard to assume the effect of media in our lives as it is very impactful in our daily dealings. The fact that some people may not want to participate in media issues is exceptionally unrealistic. Issues addressed in the media are always matters that have an effect on people’s lives either directly or indirectly. However, media concentrates mostly on issues that attract attentions of listeners without regarding the contents’ reality. In most instances, the pessimistic and negative aspects of either scenarios such as hot political temperatures and corruption or individuals especially public figures being involved in morally wrong behaviors such as child molesting are given extra attention by the media. Negative publicity, according to the human conduct, attracts extraordinary consideration thus forcing even an individual who could have initially declined listening to the media. The media have the tendency of making eye-catching heading since their main strength is maximizing their audience. It is conclusively evident that user resistance as regards to media content is negligible. Mode of financing the media is undoubtedly controversial amongst the public since the populace does not understand the exact way of media funding. Most people believe that media is wholly funded by the owners or private investors. However, the media, especially digital media is relatively financed through government taxing the purchase or continuous use of the digital media. The government has fundamentally contributed to the funding of the digital media by either supporting the private firms involved in digital media by offering subsidies or reducing the tax burdens. In addition, government has encouraged private investment in digital media to promote innovations and inventions. Initially, most media companies made lots of money through investing in pornography materials. The pornography business was booming due to the widespread demand of the materials. Consumers of the pornographic stuffs were very loyal to the media firms producing the materials thus increasing the company’s revenues. However, societal ethics and religious leaders condemned the widespread use of the pornographic materials hence leading to diversification by the companies in other media activities apart from sexual materials. Development of media includes the firms, citizens, and regime’s ability to widen the capability and superiority of the media. There is a great attempt by many firms in coming up with an independent, transparent and high quality media. The effort includes improving both the existing and old Media. Journalists are involved in intensive training and development to promote the media freedom, professionalism, transparency, effective governance and provision of information that the public need to improve their lives. Digital media has extremely changed the whole media development into a great success. Use of blogs, face book, and other social Medias has been very useful to both firms and consumers (Liana, 2010). Social media advertising is gaining website interchange or awareness via twitter, face book, and blogging. Social media marketing programs more often than not strive to generate contents that largely create a center of attention that encourages its users to share amongst them. Commercial information moves starting with one client to the other and most probably resonates for the reason that it seems to move from a dependent, third-party foundation, disparate from the make or firm itself. Face book, twitter and other social media have turn out to be a podium that is without problems accessible to any person who can access internet. Improved communication for firms promotes product consciousness and improved customer care services (Liana, 2010). Furthermore, a social medium such as face book and twitter are cheap and covers a wider geographical area when used in advertising. Societal set of connections allow persons to interrelate with each other while building affiliations. A good number of firms endeavor to invest in social media with an expectation of receiving a huge return on their venture. Optimism is that more and new customers will always come in large numbers thus raising revenue received in the end. Nevertheless, it takes lots of time to build drive with the social media as expected, and the advantage are never as apparent as predictable by the firms. Use of ever-rising new social media promotion methods intensifies interaction with a good number of fanatical, potential clients as well as generating additional customers than ever before (Liana, 2010). Li Evans, in his book, indicates unerringly how to use social media in whichever company, business, or industry. Evans explains exactly how to design best collective networking strategy, carefully staffing the social media, categorizing it, administering its potential risks, and implementing it productively. Evans further explains how and the need for understanding the market audience, talking to the audience, building confidence, and defending company’s brand. In addition, Li Evans give details on the call for incorporating social media into presented promotion agendas and quantifying the outcome to generate more profit from the most modern social media sites.
